Dr Kaveh Eghtesadi
Dr. Kaveh Eghtesadi earned his Doctorate in Medicine from Iran in 1998. Over the past two decades, he has dedicated more than 20 years to the practice of medicine, serving in various locations worldwide, such as Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and, for the last ten years, Australia.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Eghtesadi contributed his expertise voluntarily to Doctors Without Borders (MSF) for approximately two years, assisting Afghan refugees.
His primary focus and considerable experience lie in providing medical care in rural and remote areas with limited resources.
Functioning as a general practitioner, he adheres to a holistic approach in patient care. Dr. Eghtesadi not only addresses patients’ primary complaints but also takes into account their needs, preferences, and expectations, considering their overall mental, cultural, family, and economic circumstances.
Dr. Eghtesadi’s particular interests encompass the management of chronic medical conditions, surgical management of skin lesions (including skin cancer), treatment of minor traumas, well-being check-ups, and screening tests for disease prevention, following both Australian and international guidelines.
